This means you can enjoy dishes that you might not find at every Mexican restaurant in the area, making this place a gem for those looking for something a little different. The flavors are bold and vibrant, with each dish prepared using time-honored recipes and cooking techniques.

The tacos are a must-try. The tacos al pastor, served with a tangy pineapple salsa, are bursting with flavor. For those who love a bit of heat, the spicy salsas served on the side will definitely hit the spot. The conchas, with their soft, pillowy texture and sweet glaze, are a standout. Another favorite is the empanadas, filled with a variety of fruits and sweet fillings. Whether you're in the mood for something light or something more decadent, their selection has you covered.

The restaurant also prides itself on serving fresh, made-to-order food, ensuring that each dish is served at the peak of flavor. Everything, from the tortillas to the salsas, is made in-house, which adds a personal touch to every meal.

  • This place is one of my favorite taco spots. The steak taco is really good. The prices are very reasonable and I like the service very nice people. I would recommend going around lunch time to try to full menu. They do sometimes run out of stuff but not all. Food is very filling.

  • If you're in search of the best authentic tacos in Dallas, look no further. This charming, family-owned gem has been delighting the metroplex for over 25 years with its impeccable offerings and unbeatable prices. Sergio, consistently prepares mouthwatering chicken and steak tacos topped with fresh onions, cilantro, and Serrano peppers, all wrapped in homemade corn tortillas. Each visit guarantees a culinary experience free from disappointment. The ambiance is a delightful nod to Hispanic culture, with custom wood-crafted tables and chairs adding to the restaurant's unique charm. As an added bonus, while you wait for your food, you can admire their impressive Lego collection and even catch a glimpse of the family adding new pieces, all while the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread wafts from their adjacent bakery. Parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours, so I recommend calling ahead if you're pressed for time—they'll have your order ready in just five minutes. For a hassle-free experience, consider parking in the nearby Sam’s Club lot. You'll be in and out in no time, with a delicious meal in hand. Tell them Jewel sent you!

  • We’re visiting Dallas from out of town and I am so glad I found this place. We came here twice and got the tacos and tortas and they were amazing. They don’t skimp on the food and it’s very authentic.

  • I went with my husband because I had a taco craving. It’s not far from us so we decided to check it out. It’s quaint inside, simple menu, and yummy food. Can’t complain.

  • Came across this small taco joint when searching for lunch. I tried their chicken taco and was quite surprised by how flavorful the chicken was. It came with tomatillo salsa which was pretty good too. The shop itself is a little old, so I picked up and ate at home. Both the guys who took my order and who made it were very friendly. Felt it was a good option for a budget lunch at 3$ a taco. I am definitely inclined to give other tacos a try.
